Workshop 1 — Calm the Cycle: Understanding Your Relationship’s Nervous System
Most couples try to fix conflict by talking it through more, or by trying harder to stay calm.
But if conflict with your partner ever feels bigger than the moment calls for (like your body thinks it’s in danger, not just in a disagreement), more talking usually isn’t the missing piece.
This workshop looks at what’s actually happening in your nervous system in that moment and gives you a different perspective . . . .
In this 90-minute live session, you and your partner will:
- Learn why conflict with the person you love can register in your body as danger, even when you’re safe
- Each map your own fight, flight, freeze, or fawn pattern
- Name your relationship’s specific “negative cycle” — the pattern that tends to hijack most of your fights, before either of you fully realizes it’s happening
- Leave with a personal nervous-system map you can actually use next time things start to escalate
This is the first session in a four-part Reconnect series, but it also works as a complete stand-alone experience if you’re not ready to commit to all four.
What to expect:
- 90 minutes, live and interactive
- $60 per person
- Small group setting — capped for an intimate, safe room
- Built on the same research foundation as my free Nervous System Check-In, plus over 30 years of clinical work with couples specifically
Who this workshop is for:
This workshop isn’t the right first step if either of you is afraid of the other, if there has been physical violence or threats in the past year, if one partner controls the other’s money, movement, or contact with others, or if either of you is currently in crisis. Those situations deserve individual support first. I’m glad to help you find it. Email me privately and I’ll respond only to you.

I’m not running this on a fixed schedule yet. I’m gathering interest first so I can pick a date that works for the couples who actually want to be there. Add your name below and you’ll be the first to hear when a date is set, along with how to register and pay.
No spam, no pressure — just an email when Workshop 1 has a date.
